Robinson Sounds Six Nations Battle Cry

Head coach Andy Robinson challenged Scotland to “inspire the nation” as he issued a rousing clarion call ahead of the RBS 6 Nations championship.

The famously intense former England boss enjoyed immediate success after taking charge at Murrayfield earlier this season, leading Scotland to their first win against Australia in 28 years and Robinson has demanded his men carry that commitment into the Six Nations, starting against France on February 7.

“This is a warrior sport and you are searching for the toughest competitors that will put their bodies on the line,” Robinson said at the Six Nations launch in London. “You saw that after the Australia game the players, in winning the game 9-8, inspired the nation. The guys understand what it means.” xtracms.
